Syria Condemns the Terrorist Act of Killing Bhutto

DAMASCUS,(SANA)- Syria expressed shock at the cowardly terrorist act which targeted an election rally in the Pakistani city of Rawalpindi on Thursday, killing former Prime Minister of Pakistan Benazir Bhutto. 
 
The Syrian government's official Spokesman said that Syrian leadership, government and people strongly condemn this terrorist act and offer their sincere condolences to the family of Mrs. Bhutto, Pakistani People's Party
and the government of Pakistan.
 
"Syria expressed confidence that Pakistan will be capable of overcoming these difficult conditions resulting from this terrorist act" The Spokesman added.
