DAMASCUS, (SANA)-Minister of Information Mohsen Bilal on Tuesday renewed Syria's support to the Palestinian people in their struggle to restore legitimate rights and establish their independent state with Jerusalem as its capital.

Bilal discussed in a meeting with a delegation of Palestinian People Party, headed by Secretary General Bassam al-Salihi, the latest developments in Palestine and the suffering of the Palestinian people as a result of the Israeli continued policy of siege and aggression.

For his part, al-Salihi hailed Syria's stances towards Arab issues in general and the Palestinian cause in particular, as well as Syria's unlimited support to the Palestinian people, referring to the role played by Syria to achieve unity of the Palestinian factions.
